HBCU Global Leadership Internship

The HBCU Global Leadership Internship provides students from historically Black colleges and universities with a unique opportunity to engage in meaningful work that enhances global literacy efforts. Interns will gain hands-on experience in administrative tasks, project management, and the operational aspects of an international literacy mission. Participants will also receive a stipend of $3,000

Eligibility Requirements:

Must be 18 years or older at the start of the program.

Currently enrolled in college, preferably at an HBCU.

Resident of South Carolina or attending a South Carolina Institute of Higher Education.

Must complete an online application. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Must have an active email account and respond to email communications promptly.

Internship Details:

Location: Work will primarily be conducted remotely, with potential opportunities for travel. One in-person workday per month is required.

Weekly Hours: Expected to contribute 10-15 hours per week

Program Duration: 6 months, with flexible working hours to accommodate academic commitments.

Travel Discounts: Interns will receive discounts on international travel opportunities related to the mission.
